On 6 September 2013, baritone Ernst Daniel Smid received the Amstel Award.He received the Award not only for his great talent - his beautiful voice - but also since he passes on the profession with great passion and love to young talents.Baritone Ernst Daniel Smid is a unique human being with the heart at the right place.Ernst Daniel is a tough worker and deviser of many musical programmes. The Amstel Award 2012 was presented last 26 Octoberin the Mirror Hall of the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam to soprano Marjon Lambriks.  Marjon did not receive the Award for her talent only. She also shares her experiences in the field of music and theatre and passes it on to new talents.

For some years, Marjon has already been busy to make music together with children. She has a special passion for people with a limitation, for whom she performs free of charge and is active as ambassador.
